Hi! I’m Ana
Let’s get to know each other.
I serve the greater Austin, Texas area and provide doula care to my clients at the birth place of your choosing whether home, birth center, or hospital. I am currently finishing my doula certification with Birth Arts International.
Inspired by the birth of one of my adorable nieces and nephews, I desire to strengthen and encourage moms in this precious journey. As much as possible I work with the natural design of the birth process.
I’m often in the kitchen creating comforting, lifegiving dishes for my family and community, and this overflows into my doula practice. Other places you might find me are in my aquaponics garden or bee yard, at our local market selling honey and sourdough, or on an outdoor adventure with friends.
Why honey bee doula? Honey bees are selfless, hardworking members of a team. They cheerfully do any task that needs to be done. As a doula, my hope is to serve moms and their families in a similar way.

How it Works

Meet
We meet either via phone/video call or in person for a short session to see if we’re a good fit for each other. This can be done at any time during your pregnancy.
Sign Up & Pay
Choose your doula package, sign the contract, and begin payments according to your payment plan. This can be done in person or via email.
Enjoy Support!
Immediately begin receiving the doula services in your package. When you start labor, I will come to your birth place and support you every step of the way.

What is a doula?
A doula is a trained birth professional who provides non-medical support to mothers throughout the birth process.
From giving the laboring mom a massage for natural pain relief to helping her navigate her medical options, to bringing her a glass of water, a doula does whatever is most helpful for Mama so that she can focus on one of the most breathtaking accomplishments – bringing new life into the world.

When my labor took an unexpected turn, ultimately ending in a C-section, Ana handled everything with grace, calm, and confidence. She stayed with me through intense pain, coordinated details I couldn’t think about (including my placenta drop-off for encapsulation), and didn’t leave until I was out of recovery and settled into my postpartum room. Having her by my side, along with my husband, made an enormous difference during such a vulnerable and overwhelming experience.
One of the most invaluable parts of Ana’s care were her postpartum meals. Every single one was absolutely delicious — from muffins and granola bars to enchiladas to a rustic chicken bake we still talk about. The meals were nourishing, thoughtfully prepared, and made with ingredients from her garden and meat from her family farm, which made them feel even more special. Not having to think about food once we were home from the hospital was a true gift during those early postpartum days.
I am so grateful for Ana and the care she provided. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a doula who leads with intuition, compassion, and competence, and I would absolutely hire her again for my next birth.
